Transforming Lives
Since 1997
Three Decades of Rebuilding Broken Lives
Empowering Recovery Through Community Support
At Kathy’s House, we provide a comprehensive one-year residential program designed to help individuals break free from addiction and rebuild their lives. Our services, which include counseling, life skills training, and spiritual growth, are offered entirely free of charge to residents. We are able to do this through the generosity of our community. Kathy’s House is funded by financial donations, sales from our Casa de Kathy thrift stores, and contributions of goods that are resold to support the ministry. These resources enable us to offer a safe, nurturing environment where residents can focus on healing and personal transformation.
Transforming lives by transforming hearts and minds.
When we understand whose we are, we begin to truly love who we are. Walking as a child of the King fills our hearts with victorious hope, making the impossible a part of everyday life. With a foundation rooted in love and hope, challenges become opportunities for growth. The key to success at Kathy’s House is bridging the gap between heart belief and mind knowledge. This is both our mission and mandate—to guide our residents through this powerful transformation.

Welcome to Our Homes!
Zachary’s House for Men
Many men, both young and old, have lost their way and ended up on the streets, with nowhere to go and no one to turn to. To address this issue, we follow the mentorship principle of Restoring Fathers to Sons and Sons to Fathers. This approach has been successful in building men of integrity and good character through biblical discipleship for many years. Our ultimate goal is to restore men to their biblical fatherhood.
Rosie’s Place for Women
Every woman who comes to our home is a daughter, a mother, or both. Women living on the streets face numerous challenges, and it’s hard for them to think beyond survival. Our home provides a safe and secure place for women, including pregnant mothers, who choose to keep their babies and bring positive changes to their lives. The ultimate revelation: “I am a daughter of the King!”
Nehemiah Transition Home
Restoration is more than just achieving sobriety or returning to where you were before. It’s about building a new and fulfilling life filled with hope and promise and making positive contributions to society. Our Transition option for men focuses on leadership and integration, allowing us to stand strong together through victories and challenges. Men sharpen men, rise up together, and sew into the lives of others.
Kathy’s House never charges its residents a penny. The residents' sole focus is becoming the best possible version of themselves.

The Road to Success
PHASE-I
Decision
It all begins with a decision, and you have to make it. “I want to change”. With that desire begins a journey that will not be easy but is totally doable, and that is to detox. Your first 30 days will be spent on a media blackout and focused on your detox and putting down roots in the new family God has grafted you into.
PHASE-II
Reboot
Once the “Decision” has been made, it’s time to get to work. Phase II is designed to rebuild your work ethic, connect you with a sponsor, and focus on walking out your sobriety step-by-step. Counseling and healing will take place, all while you grow deeper in relationships with people, God, and the local church. This Phase is designed to last 8 months.
PHASE-III
Integrate
The last 3 months of the year-long program are to start acclimating back into society with an outside job, training in finances, resume building, church leadership, and the goal of finding housing to provide the path to launch into your future life.

Testimonials
“When I got to Kathy’s House I was facing 20 years prison time. My addiction had separated me from my daughter and a family that loves me very much. I dedicated my life to Jesus and spent my time pursuing His plan for my life. Today I am a a free man, I am sober, I have my own home, I am a supervisor for a well known construction company and I am reunited with my baby girl.”
— Addam
“Before coming to Kathy’s House my husband and I were addicted to meth and living in a creek bed. When I found out that I was pregnant I knew it was time for a change. I recommitted my life to Jesus and through the tools I received in the program I was able to make positive changes before our baby was born. In September Claire was born. In December my husband and I got new jobs and the keys to our new home. God is good.”
— Heather, Jacob & Baby Claire
“In my time at Kathy’s House I learned that my Faith needs to be bigger than my fear. Since graduation I have a place to call home, I am working full time and enrolled in ministry school. The Lord is leading me and guiding me and I continue to serve him with a willing and teachable heart.”
